Shoulder Maré Shoulder Maré Shoulder Maré

With spring closer and the winter days giving a truce, inevitably a summer feeling appears! And today’s outfit is especially dedicated to those summer days.

The photos were taken in a beautiful hotel, the Felissimo Exclusive, in Balneário Camboriú. And we were lucky during our stay with a beautiful day of sunshine and blue skies. The perfect opportunity to debut my SShoulder Maré pantacourt. This is a special Shoulder line dedicated to this lighter and less urban mood, a refreshment for any time of the year.

The pants are a delight, comfortable and full of movement, as the summer looks should be. I wore it with the bikini top and at the end of the day I put the embroidered blouse over it.

The accessories are also all about this weather, embroidered hat from Chapéus25, pineapple bag and sandals from Esdra. And just looking at this pictures already makes me wish that the summer arrives soon, for more days like this! Who is also in the countdown for the next seasons?

I already wrote about my love for blazers right? But there are some specifications that make this piece even more perfect and Shoulder seems to have read my thoughts to make this blazer I’m wearing. Starting with the most classic color: navy blue. The fabric is also perfect with a soft texture and the perfect trim.

But the most important thing for me is the length! In general I like the piece at the height or slightly below the hip and if it is longer it’s better, because besides giving an elongated in the look it’s also perfect to wear with skirts and dresses. In these cases, it is not a rule, but the length of the jacket or blazer should be close to the length of the piece that goes below, so it looks more harmonic.

While the heat only allows fresh looks I took advantage to debut my blazer with a little dress. I choose the navy blue as the colour of the look. The polka dot dress is vintage and I completed with the blue striped shirt to make it even sweeter. I need to comment about the fabric of this shirt: it’s so nice and feels so good while wearing it.

Finally, I chose a yellow bag to add a touch of color. I love the vibrant color of it and the round shape. So cute,  isn’t it?

More than a look du jour this post is all about this great little place that I love and was the perfect background for so many photos here. I will eventually post some of my favorite places in the area or any other city I go. Places that inspire us definitely deserve to be shared!

Sorveteria Venezia 311 is the most beautiful corner in Criciúma. The place is really cute, I love the window displays with stickers and this vintage inspiration. On those days of summer it is a delight to stop by and see the tables on the sidewalk and stop for a little refreshment. Because besides being beautiful, it has the best ice cream in town.

Talking about ice cream they have many choices in a buffet with several delicious flavors, including lactose free. My all-time favorite is the mint with chocolate, I’m totally addicted. I also definetely recommend the coconut syrup, so yummi!

As the afternoon was simply too hot for chocolate I chose a bowl from the menu with strawberry, yogurt, chantilly and ice cream. Ideal for such a hot day.

But if there’s one thing I really like about Venezia 311, it’s how they treat the customers and their work. Do you know when we see love and affection in the work? From time to time they promote ideas to help some institution here in the city that needs donations, pure love! Unfortunately I forgot to ask the name of the owners who are always there to treat the costumers really well and allowing us to make the biggest mess while shooting, but here is my THANK YOU!

If you ever have a chance to visit the city this is the address: Rua Joaquim Nabuco, 311 – Centro, Criciúma – SC

Sorveteria Venezia 311

My look for this Wednesday was very comfy and easy with a vintage inspiration to match my afternoon at the ice cream shop.

The midi skirt was for a long time at my closet, but the length (near the ankles) never seemed to please me. I took it in the seamstress and with the new length it’s like my new uniform. I love the baby pink colour and the fabric a little thicker, it is simply beautiful in movement and it makes me feel like I’m in one of those musicals like La La Land!

With those high temperatures all I ask is for comfort, so I wore gray Keds shoes and a gray floral blouse to create that harmony of colors that I love so much. Another highlight at the accessories is the gray velvet bag with a geometric texture that makes an incredible effect.

Finally, my favorite touch: the headpiece. I had already worn a black one in a recent look and now I have chosen the rosy for the look du jour. Among many buns and ponytails this has been my choice to change a little bit the basic summer hairstyle.

The hottest days are always the hardest when it comes to get dressed. With the high temperatures you can’t think too much, no overlays, third piece, which means that you have to keep it simple. But you can keep your style, even wearing only a few pieces.

Yesterday was one of those typical summer days. Moments before the storm, the sensation is even worse. My choice to face the day was this Inspireland dress. Lightweight fabric and straps. But it’s the little details that make it all so charming. Instead of the basic straps, two delicate bows. The shape and this tiny plaid pattern is pure love, right? There’s a kind of vintage thing about it that makes this dress even more charming.

And since the temperature did not allow any other piece of clothing, I wore the accessories in my favor. Remember that in the last post I talked about some new accessories to increase my summer hairstyles (I’m just varying between high bun and ponytail)? So, this headband with a little knot is one of those accessories that makes the look even sweeter. I bought a black and a baby pink one and I am loving it.

Another highlight of the look is the Rosegal bag. For a passionate by mix of prints like me this bag is heaven. Stripes + polka dots: it’s pure love!

floral midi skirt

We started 2017 with a few days of vacation and there’s nothing like spending time disconnected enjoying those great little moments of life right? The long summer days, blue skies, a gentle wind and the sound of the water are some of the details that we should stop and enjoy more!

I confess that I was missing to post here so I chose a very special look to start the new year that reflects a little bit of this summer holidays mood of the last days.

The inspiration comes from other decades, I think I’ve been reading a lot of books and watching many movies and series that portray other times (later I’ll share some of my inspirations with you!) and inevitably I felt like wearing some vintage inspired outfits, feminine prints like floral and the scarf tied around the neck (such a cute detail!).

Luckily I found some pieces of the new AMARO collection that fit perfectly into this mood. My great passion is the floral midi skirt, the print is simply beautiful, brings colorful bouquets of flowers hand-drawn in watercolor and has a freshness that matches with summer. Besides the pattern, the modeling is exactly as I like it, light fabric and full of movement, one of those that makes us dream that we are dancing and spinning just to see the beautiful drawing of the skirt.

To balance the volume of the skirt I chose a white top with a a V neckline that I completed with a scarf tied around the neck, a cute and romantic detail, everything from AMARO.

The hat from Chapéus25 you already know from other old looks and has been my great ally this summer, beautiful and very useful under all this sun.

Finally, I chose a very cute and colorful sandals filled with pompons also from AMARO that since the end of last year has launched a special line of shoes, good news, right? I’m not a big fan of sandals, but I surrendered to this one with pompoms and it has been my favorite in these very hot days, besides giving a fun touch to any look.

Ah, in the early years of the blog the looks du jour always took the name of some songs that I loved, anyone remember? So, music is still a great inspiration for my looks and today’s production has the mood of this version of Que reste-t-il de nos amours? from Charles Trenet played by Avalon Jazz Band, take a look at this inspiring song:

Yesterday I wrote about the difficulty of finding a cool look to use in those summer days with high temperatures, so today I decided to post another look that fits perfectly the season. And it does not have anything better than a dress, light and fresh, right? Not surprisingly this one from Inspireland meets all requirements.

I confess that this plaid print, gingham, has been one of my favorites. It’s all about summer and reminds me of a walk in the park, a picnic, a cute and fun sensation. And the modeling of the dress helps a lot in this climate, with a oof the shoulder details, cute cuffs, very light and loose.

I chose to add a touch of color to the black and white look with the red accessories. My classic hat appears in the color version and the heels from Luiza Barcelos with a little knot is just perfect. The catbag makes the look even cuter, right?

After my last post about Punta Cana and those sunny days just made me wish for summer and hot days over here too. So to keep the summer mood I decided to post this gorgeous dress from Shoulder.

There’s nothing new about me loving a printed piece, right? And the new Shoulder collection is simply amazing. The floral print on that dress totally reminds me of the pants I posted last week, this one to be exactly. Both pieces have lot of style and are really comfy with a great fabric.

So I enjoyed a day in Florianópolis with this outfit and it feels perfect for a summer afternoon walking around. To keep it casual and comfy I just added some caramel sandals from Esdra and Eugenia Gamero clutch. A easy and cool outfit for the season.

It’s not easy to dress well during summer hot days. As the temperature is gets high we only wish for dresses, tank tops and shorts. But here is today’s look du jour to prove that we can still look chic and elegant on summertime.

This gorgeous pants is jst perfect for the hotest season. I love the different floral print with sofisticated colours and details. Also the fabric is just so soft and fresh that gives a nice movement when you walk. And last but not least the shape is so comfy. That’s the kind of piece that make Shoulder one of my favourites brands ever.

I wore it with a white top also from Shoulder and one more time the focus is on the details: perfect fabric and lace up.

As I wanted to keep it casual and comfy I wore it with some caramel sandals from Esdra. Accessories also with wooden rounded sunglasses and fringed bag.
