polka dot skirt

Sometimes it makes me want to have a different routine, full of events and parties, just to be able to wear these wonderful clothes in the day to day. Some looks I just don’t want to take out and if I could I would even use to go in the bakery. Yeah!

This polka dot skirt from Eliza J is a like a dream come true! Aside from the pattern being one of my favorites, I love navy blue. I love the pattern that big and the fabric and modeling are absolutely perfect. Another detail that confirms all this perfection? This skirt has pockets, that’s love, right?

I wore it with a white off the shoulder top also from Eliza J. After all, the skirt already rocks the look and deserves total attention.

To make the look more fun, I chose a yellow rounded bag. I love wearing navy blue with a touch of yellow. Maybe you have noticed this in previous looks.

Taking advantage of this polka dot inspiration I also chose a round white glasses from ZeroUV. So the look is pure harmony with many polka dots in the print and accessories. How about this wonderful inspiration to start the week?

navy blazer

I already wrote about my love for blazers right? But there are some specifications that make this piece even more perfect and Shoulder seems to have read my thoughts to make this blazer I’m wearing. Starting with the most classic color: navy blue. The fabric is also perfect with a soft texture and the perfect trim.

But the most important thing for me is the length! In general I like the piece at the height or slightly below the hip and if it is longer it’s better, because besides giving an elongated in the look it’s also perfect to wear with skirts and dresses. In these cases, it is not a rule, but the length of the jacket or blazer should be close to the length of the piece that goes below, so it looks more harmonic.

While the heat only allows fresh looks I took advantage to debut my blazer with a little dress. I choose the navy blue as the colour of the look. The polka dot dress is vintage and I completed with the blue striped shirt to make it even sweeter. I need to comment about the fabric of this shirt: it’s so nice and feels so good while wearing it.

Finally, I chose a yellow bag to add a touch of color. I love the vibrant color of it and the round shape. So cute,  isn’t it?

I love red, especially in navy looks! But after I changed my hair colour I was a little bit afraid to wear red. I don’t know, somehow I thought it wasn’t the perfect match to my new hair. I guess it’s ok to feel insecure about those things after a big change.

This was just until I find the this gorgeous blazer from new Shoulder collection. Then my love for red blazer was stronger and I realized the problem was all in my head (literally!). I told you before this collection was totally me, right? The red striped tshirt with v-neck and embroidery detail is another piece that is part of a section that I would call classic in my closet, I have many variations of the same style – and I never get tired of it.

The navy blue shorts is also from Shoulder and the perfect piece for my navy inspiration. Accessories among some white and blue pieces, starting with the white sunglasses from ZeroUV. This lace up flats from VinciShoes is just so cute, love the denim fabric and the beaded details.

I have shared a little bit of my love for Shoulder here on the blog, right? I already visited their factory, saw the pieces been maed with so much love and care, I adore the marketing team that isalways in touch with me (hello Marden!) and I always feel so great at their store in Porto Alegre. But every new collection makes me feel even more in love with the brand.

Last week I went at their sotre to see the new collection and I shared some of my favourite outfits on Snapchat. I posted this outfit on Snap and it was by my favourite – and probably yours too with so many prints there! Stripes and dots is the perfect match. And navy blue is pure love. The fabric of the top is so soft and the off the shoulder shape is a total obsession. The striped shorts is also a must have, so comfy and great for summer.

I enjoyed the perfect weather last weekend to wear my new clothes. My priority was a comfy and stylish look, so I added some flat shoes and another print, of course, with the polka dots bag. Final touch with the velvet sunglasses from NastyGal.

I wore this jumpsuit and the striped blouse from Shoulder last weekend to watch the Olympic Games and also during my radio interview at the Coca-Cola (did you see? Right here!). At the time I could not take many pictures, but I was so in love with this outfit that I had to take some proper pictures to show you all details.

This navy blue tailored jumpsuit  from Shoulder is simply beautiful. It was love at first sight when I saw it at the sotre. I amde some adjustments and it looks exactly as I imagined. It has removable traps and it also looks great in the strapless version (maybe you’ll se me wearing again during summer!).

I wore it with the classic striped top also from Shoulder. Since my inspiration was all about navy I also added this wonderful hat from Lack of Color. As I could not take the hat with me on the trip I’m happy to take the pictures only now with the hat final touch included. It’s amazing how that hat perfectly matches my striped looks, it is one of my favorites.

I completed the look with a mini white bag  and that usual mix of bracelets and a gorgeous watch from Daniel Wellington.

Look du jour with a classic inspiration for me: navy! I love this mix of red and navy blue, specially if it comes with stripes just like this gorgeous skirt from Front Row. I wore with a basic tshirt to make it more comfy and casual.

Accessories also in navy with my lovely red hat from Choies and navy blue shoes.

And what about these pictures that we took on Recollection Lab? I love Larissa’s atelier and every time I go there I have new inspirations for photos. Hope you like it as much as I do.

This outfit was on my mind for a few weeks and I finally got the chance to wear it and take pictures. Do you know when you suddenly find some pieces that looks like they were made for each other? That’s exactly what happened. The top and skirt I found in Amsterdam at Bershka, they were close so I thought that would be a nice mix of prints for a navy outfit. Had to bring it home.

During my visit at Carel store in Paris I fell in love with this cute mini bag with the same colours of the other 2 pieces, another one ready for my imaginary outfit. The red shoes also from Carel I had no doubt, the perfect touch for my navy inspiration.

When I finally came home I received my so desired hats from Choies. It’s that classic model I wear all the time and I was really needing a new one, so why not 3 different colours? I bought this red one and the look was done (this red hat is my new addiction!).

I was ready to get out when I remembered my navy blue and red watch from Daniel Wellington, I found it at my drawer and it was even better than I thought. So, do you like my red outfit?
