The white boot was among the recent trends I’d let go. But with my desire to wear light color looks during the winter, I noticed that Idon’t have the right shoes to fit my new color chart. I confess that among my few boots I can only see black basics or caramel. So I decided to try the white boot as an option!
And that’s how I discovered that the white boot can work on my looks and go beyond a season. As on today’s outfit with mini skirt and leather jacket. I wore a mini red skirt with a zipper detail. I combined it with an almost basic tshirt and black leather jacket, after all it’s still cold here.
In the accessories the white boots, of course. I chose a very cute baby pink mini bag that has been my choice in recent looks. I love the size and color. Finally, my inseparable boater hat in red color, heart earring and white glasses. How about this basic look, but with a fun touch?
I received this dress from the brand Olga Skazkina a few months ago, along with another gray tulle dress that I have already posted here (also wonderfu!). But unlike the other dress that is super delicate, I thought this piece had a certain attitude and should not be used casually.
I waited for a day when I really felt incredible to wear the dress. As it has a length that escapes from my usual, sheer fabric, peplum and many polka dots wanted it to be something really special.
And the day I decided to wear it I thought it was perfect to me. I fell in love with every detail and I enjoyed it so much that I’m already thinking of repeating it soon.
This time I wore it with a Cravo & Canelaboots to avoid a more obvious and classic option like a black sandal. I got out of my comfort zone and I loved the result! I must say that this boots surprised me, it is light and very comfortable. Also, it works well with so many outfit, you know? I wore it in different productions and styles and it has proved to be more versatile than I thought.
Finally, another new thing to me that I have tried and loved: this Santa Boutique dots earrings. Guys, I rarely wear earrings, as big as this is even rarer. But I loved it so much, I need to try more! What did you think?
You may have heard that the perfect accessory can transform any outfit. We believe that it is a big true and we are passionate about sunglasses, belts, handbags, jewelry, shoes, hats and sometimes we takes it all together in the same production! Some accessories are not actually necessary, but certainly add style when are well chosen. They can serve as a key piece and even as inspiration for a production. They are also great to take any outfit of sameness and give an instant up basic combinations.
To show you how a good accessory is everything in a look, I chose some Flavia’s look du jour where they make all the difference:
GLASSES AND JEWELRY – A good pair of glasses makes any outfit more fashion. You can bet on more classic models or invest in more colorful ones and different options. The eyeglasses can also stand out as a fashion production item! And if before you had to choose just one earring, necklace or ring to gain prominence, now you can use all at once and mix colors and materials creating a mix with your style!
HATS AND BAGS – Many people still have doubts about how to wear a hat and even where to buy cool models. For being an accessory with more volume, even when he is alone already makes a nice difference. Start coordinating with the tones you already have on your outfit, so you gain the confidence to use more and more. The bags are almost always together with us, the tip here is to try out the basics and invest in them as another option to let outfit fashionable.
SHOES – No way, this accessory does not have to leave out of this topic. But what if the shoes was the high point in the entire production? Yes, it can be! A good exercise is to start your outfit matching the rest of the pieces with this accessory not the oposite like we usually do.
Tell us, which accessory cannot miss on your outfit?
Last Monday I posted about my embroidered hats (here!), this mini trend with customized pieces and some amazing and funny hats for summer. Among my favorites are the ones from Chapéus25, a brazilian online store that surprised me with some gorgeous hats.
As I mentioned in the other post I love this hat because the size is ideal not only for the beach looks, but also to wear in the city. That was my choice last Sunday. I took the day to take a walk and enjoey with my dog, Petite, and completed the look with my “Out of Office” hat, perfect for those more relaxing moments.
The outfit is comfortable and casual but with those great little details that makes all the difference. Starting with the velvet bag with kitten ears, pure love. I also wore my striped coat in black and white with some old oxfords from Melissa, that piece is such a classic for me.
To keep this out of the bicolor piece I wore some caramel pieces like this gorgeous pleated skirt from Forever21, another piece you may have seen a lot here on look du jour.
Finally, the best part of this look: Petite, my beloved dog. Every time she appears here I take the opportunity to say: do not buy, adopt! Adopting this little girl from the streets was the best decision I ever made.
I love it when a piece inspires the whole look, almost instantly! That is what happened with this linen blazer with stripes from Shoulder. It’s the perfect piece for summer, light fabric, soft colour and the kind of piece you can still wear in a hot day.
As soon as I saw this blazer at the store I started imagine so many possibilities and the first one was this look du jour. The perfect combination for my Gap striped pants. nd since I love stripes, I added one more little piece with this pattern, the tshirt with vneck from AStars.
Three striped pieces in a single look can indeed work well, in harmony. All the pieces have softer colors and all of them have a more comfortable and relaxed vibe. And every pattern has stripes in different widths, which makes it more interesting.
With the clothes done it was time to choose the accessories and that the oxford from Inspection5 seems to have been made for this look. Ine more print for this outfit! Since the blue color appears subtly in all of them, I took another touch of color with Pandora jewelry. Blue appears both in the rings and in the charms of the Essence collection. Of course, I added many other rings to compose that mix I love.
And the final touch is this gorgeous hat from Chapéus25. I am already planning a post about this trend of hats with phrases, you have seen this out there too? The coolest thing is that it’s possible to customize and write what you want. I loved it and I guess I’ve got a new favorite hat for this summer.
On my daily looks du jour you may have seen my outfits here on FashionCoolture wearing hats and I’m a real hat lover.
A god hat my save your bad hair day, or totally rock an outfit and most of all it’s not a usual piece here in Brazil (what about your country?) so it’s also a way to stand out. Obviously a hat is the perfect piece to warm you on winter days and protect you from the sun, but I usually don’t wear a hat for those reasons, it’s more like a special touch on my outfits. I’ll write more about my favourite shapes or how I wear it, so expect some new posts soon.
But today I want to answer an old question: Where I buy my hats?
I’ll tell you everything about my favourite stores, some are from Brazil and some other ones ships worldwide. So below you may find some of my beloved hats and the links to the stores:
There are so many options, but I’ll write about my experience and tell you what I love about each one:
LACK OF COLOR
This is definetely my favourite braand for hats. Lack of Color is an australian brand fully dedicated to produce the most beautiful hats ever. They look so good and the quality is perfect. The prices are not cheaper but it’s totally worth it. You can buy directly from their online store and it’s also avaiable on Nordstrom and other options. I would also recommend you to check Lack of Colorwebsite and social medias, their picures are gorgeous.
This is an online store from Brazil that I just discovered. My most recents hats are from Chapéus25 and I must say they are gorgeous. they have some nice models and also amazing colours (I got a pink one, orange and burgundy, all of them on the pictures above!). The price is pretty good and I guess they only ship to Brazil.
I bought my first hat on Asos a few years ago. After a long time is still one of my favourite online stores. They have so many options, different shapes and the price is ok. I like to check Asos new pieces once a week (such a shame the shipping is kinda expensive for Brazil!). Definetely recommend the store if you’re looking for a new hat!
Another brazilian online store, Amarois a fast fashion with new collections every month so they always include a few accessories and the hats are classic. Specially for winter hats they have a nice selection and colours.
CHOIES | OASAP | ROMWE
Fast fashion stores that ships worldwide and even though they are not dedicated to hats, they have a few options. The prices are really low and the quality may reflect it sometimes. I do have 3 hats from Choiesthat I really love (a red one, a black and a nude!) and they are absolutely perfect, such a shame it’s out of stock only avaiable in an orange colour.
Did you know any other stores? Where do you usually buy your hats? If you have any great tip please share with us on the comments!
I have this printed top and skirt from Motel Rocksfor a long time and I really like it, but I never wore it! So I thought it was the perfect time to finally wear this gorgeous black roses pieces in a cropped top and button front skirt.
I decided to wear it with my gray cardigan from Religion, one of my favourites lately and perfect for gray days like today. Another point of gray with these cute Keds.
This outfit was on my mind for a few weeks and I finally got the chance to wear it and take pictures. Do you know when you suddenly find some pieces that looks like they were made for each other? That’s exactly what happened. The top and skirt I found in Amsterdam at Bershka, they were close so I thought that would be a nice mix of prints for a navy outfit. Had to bring it home.
During my visit at Carel store in Paris I fell in love with this cute mini bag with the same colours of the other 2 pieces, another one ready for my imaginary outfit. The red shoes also fromCarelI had no doubt, the perfect touch for my navy inspiration.
When I finally came home I received my so desired hats from Choies. It’s that classic model I wear all the time and I was really needing a new one, so why not 3 different colours? I bought this red one and the look was done (this red hat is my new addiction!).
I was ready to get out when I remembered my navy blue and red watch from Daniel Wellington, I found it at my drawer and it was even better than I thought. So, do you like my red outfit?
