There’s nothing new about me loving preppy outfits, right? So today’s look is one of those that will stay on repeat because it has a perfect combination for my style.

The formula of the outfit is common, but some details make a difference: the black pants get an extra highlight for being in fake leather, it brings an extra texture to the production! Also, I loved this shorter length, it gives more prominence to the shoe.

In fact the shoe is another point to take a look: another texture – this time the varnish. And it gaves the look a preppy + boyfriend inspiration. But always with a delicacy, like the details of pearl in the heel of the shoe, have you noticed?

Still on the boyfriend theme, I wore the black blazer that is and old love. One of those finds from the second hand stores. I love the modeling and the length of it, so classic.

Finally, I also wore this striped and furry sweater, pure love, from the Pop Up Store. And I finished with this black and white scarf with hearts on the tips, so cute, right?

The vichy print is one of those classics and seems to match perfectly with summer looks right? I’ve tried and photographed many pieces with this print, but none have hit my heart as much as this look.

Once again I chose a midi skirt and I think the length is no longer a problem here. So good to be able to wear everything without fear, right? This piece is part of the new Shoulder collection which is definitely one of my favorites from the brand. I left the store wishing several pieces. But the one I brought home with me was this vichy print skirt, ruffles and a knot detail at the front. So beautiful!

And since it’s good to get out of our comfort zone, I risked a top with more frills, also from Shoulder. Yes, I would usually think of wearing a simple tshirt or a top without so much volume, to leave the overall highlight to the skirt. But I loved the result and I thought it made the look even more powerful.

Finally I added a touch of color with accessories in red. In addition to the shoe and the hat, I used this straw bag with cherry details. It’s so cute, huh?

Last Friday I showed on Instagram stories some of my favourite in the new Shoulder‘s collection. And if I had to choose a word to describe this new collection it would be: chic! Starting with today’s outfit and this midi skirt with ruffles.

You know that only recently I started to wear new lengths, but more and more I have been wearing midi skirts and even wore a pantacourt jumpsuit that I loved. I have found these looks more chic and definitely this Shoulder skirt comes to my favorite list. With soft tones and a discreet foliage pattern, the modeling is simply beautiful with the ruffled hem.

I wore it with a golden top in a pleated fabric with lace detail. The brightness is very discreet and you can use it easily during the day.

In the accessories everything in this neutral palette varying between white and gold. With white mini bag, sandal with bow detail and white glasses from ZeroUV. I also wore Pandora‘s leather bracelet as a chocker, I love these many ways to wear jewelry.

Floral Skirt

This is one of my favorite skirts and I posted a look wearing it a few months ago. It’s a super different piece! In addition to having a print that I love, floral, it has a beautiful shape, with volume and pockets just the way I like. And there’s more: it’s leather and the print appears in a 3D effect that is so incredible and unique.

So you can be sure that this piece will appear on look du jour many other times. I looked at the Farfetch website but I did not find the link for it, but the brand is House of Holland, if anyone out there also falls in love and wants to search!

This time I chose a white blouse from the Pop Up Store to wear with it. With a lightweight fabric, high neck and longer sleeves, this blouse is super delicate and romantic.

Accessories with the basic, mini white bag, glasses also white from ZeroUV and the final touch is the red shoes from Haute & Rebellious, another old piece that I love! How about this girly chic look?

look Dafiti

I photographed this look last week and really wanted to share it with you. The color chart has been my favorite lately. The classic black and white + rosy. The almost complete look is from Dafiti and some of the pieces are on sale with discounts that are worth it.

The inspiration is rocker, but with some contrasts that I love. The tshirt and the black boots bring a heavier look, perfect for balancing with the rosy skirt with lace details, a super delicate piece. I want to repeat this skirt again and again.

Accessories with mini bag with ideal color and size, I loved this Colcci bag. Going back to the boots I must say that it was a find, exactly as I wanted it, with a comfortable heels and lace up. Perfect!

After a week of intense cold I’m glad the temperature is getting higher here. Is there anything better than simple and easy looks? Sometimes a single different piece is enough for an entire production. This is the case of today’s look with this asymmetrical skirt.

I loved this different shape of the Pop Up skirt, with eyelet cutouts and details. It’s a basic piece but with a different twist. I took the warmth to put my arms out and chose a Shoulder‘s strap that I love with lace. A look all black with focus on details.

I wore it with the Cravo & Canela boots, which is heavier with lace up details, perfect to contrast with the lightness of the blouse. I love these contrasts! I chose the ZeroUV’s marble effect sunglasses, black and silver bracelets and black mini bag.

Gingham Pants

Here is a look that I loved and I intend to repeat many times. I posted an outfit with this pants long time ago, anyone remember? I took advantage of the sunshine weekend to give it a new life and I thought it really looked like Sunday. Comfortable, easy and stylish!

The highlight of the look is all about the pants with this print, gingham, vichy, no matter the name, a classic. Black and white made me go to a monochrome outfit . And that’s what I did. I wore it with this top off the shoulder from Eliza J (love that it has a super thick fabric).

As the proposal was very casual, the best choice was the Tutu’s black and white oxford. It’s brand new, but it looks like I’ve had it for years now. The leather is so soft and this color combination is very charming with the black detail.

Since the look is simple I added some accessories. I wore my cat bag that makes everything looks cute, my classic black hat and lots of Pandora jewelery. Hope you like it! (:

Macacão Pantacourt

Among the pieces I never imagined to wear was the pantacourt jumpsuit, by the way, anything pantacourt. It’s the kind of piece that I find beautiful on others, but it always seemed that would not work that well on me. After all, I’m short and the length seemed a little ungrateful.

Until the day I saw this black jumpsuit on the Pop Up Store website. I thought it was beautiful in the model, the neckline is wonderful, the straps, the soft fabric, and black, there is no mistake. I decided to give it a try! And I found out that I love it!

I have been surprised by trying out pieces that come out of my comfort zone and discovering that they can indeed look good on me. This goes a long way towards the confidence I have gained over time, with not caring enough if I’m short and accepting that at the end this is not something that needs to be disguised.

So if you have any restrictions on a particular piece because you are short or for any other reason that you imagine you need to disguise, try without fear. You may find that you can love new pieces instead of accepting that idea that such a piece does not favor your body!
