It has been a delight to finally be able to wear a sweater, a cardigan. Between evenings with temperatures that are still a little high, it’s possible to wear looks with more pieces and layers during the coolder and rainy nights. And here’s the best thing about it: layers!

In the summer we can hardly wear a simple top. But in the fall and in the winter you can invent and combine many more pieces and have layers. It has a super basic composition that I love, shirt under the sweater. To change a little bit I left the bottom of the shirt appearing under the sweater and I made a knot to ensure that the sweater would not cover the shirt. This way I also added an extra detail in the look.

From the shirt and the ccute sweater from As Marias I chose the other pieces and this rosy tone is never too much, right? Then I wore simple skirt, cause after all I needed the shirt to stay loose on top. And as if the overlay with the sweater was not enough I still wore a furry coat in the same tone, to get super girly.

Tutu’s cool shoes was my choice once again. Another accessory that made the difference is the Forever21’s headpiece, which makes the hairstyle more interesting and totally into that girly inspiration I wanted.

Do you know when you see a piece in a store and even after weeks can not forget it? With that stars printed top it was exactly like this. A few weeks ago I fell in love with it at the Shoulder store in Porto Alegre, but I did not bring it home. But it is the kind of piece that I want to keep in my closet and there are so many reasons.

I loved the delicate print with stars. The colors are also great and fits perfectly looks with soft colours like this, but also with a total black look will look incredible. Being a sleeveless top I can wear it in the summer and with a jacket as well when the temperatures get low. And the best: there is still this scarf to wear like a tie.

This time I to wear it with light colours, because I saw it like that at the store with this baby pink blazer. And it was so cute that the pieces seemed to have been made for each other. The blazer is longer and the fabric has a discrete texture and shine. I love it!

I imagined wearing it with this tulle skirt, almost the same color as the blazer. So the highlight is all for the print of the blouse that stands out with the black background. Finally on the accessories I chose the rosy shoe from Lulu’s that maintains all the lightness of the look and a gray velvet bag.

The inspiration for today’s outfit comes all from this gorgeous top. Yes, starting from this sweater I imagined all the other elements and what could be a simple sweater was the inspiration of a whole look. The color chart is one of my favorites: red, navy blue and white. I love the details of stripes on the collar and cuffs of that As Marias‘s blouse.

I kept the color chart for the choice of the other pieces. I wore the white skirt that makes the striped details even more nice and the simple detail of a black belt made everything more harmonic. Notice how the skirt with the belt somehow mimics the details on the cuff of the blouse.

I completed it with accessories, because a jacket would hide this detail in the sleeves. I added some more red to the outfit. My classic hat gets a vibrant color! And Schutz‘s tote bag is even cuter with the detail of the little keyring, a fun touch that I love.

These shoes are another classic here on the look du jour, this model with Carel’s bow is the ideal choice for preppy looks like this. How about a red look with vibrant colors to start the week without laziness?

The last look du jour for this special week without heels had to be an outfit with midi skirt right? This piece has been one of my favourites lately. If at first I always bet on high heels since the length was completely new for me, today I can wear it with flats and sneakers.

I already posted some looks before that exemplify this, but this time I chose a slightly different shoes. In place of a more casual and neutral choice, how about a Converse full of spikes? The goal here is to make sneakers the highlight, not a mere complement. Oh, this shoes are so old and from Romwe, but for those who like it you can also do this at home as diy.

With the midi skirt and the sneakers I decided to go for the classic black and white. I wore a basic M.Officer tshirt and completed it with a vintage belt.

Finally, the choice of the bag: mini and with ears! Have you noticed that I love cute and fun accessories right?

I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did this week without heels outfits. Besides being super comfortable, I loved the idea to exercise the creativity and show that a look without heels can be very cool and stylish. Now tell me in the comments among the 5 looks from the week which one was your favorite? (If you lost some here at the end of the post you’ll find a link for all of them!).

This thursday my outfit without heels is wearing flats again, but this time the highlight goes to a combination that may seem unusual. Have you ever imagined wearing a sequins in a casual look with flats?

In general, when we think about a sequined piece we soon imagines a night outfit, super chic with heels and so on. But who says that nice flats can not be the ideal complement to a sparkle piece during the day?

I must say that I chose one of the pieces in my wardrobe that shines brighter, this top from Shoulder is my passion because it has golden sequins with a kind of glitter on top, so it really shines. However, notice how the color is discreet and I find this piece super wearable during the day as well. I’m sure that you also feel sorry for leaving such cool pieces standing in the closet because you can only use them occasionally at special events. Let’s put these gorgeous piece to use on a daily basis too!

To guarantee a chic look, I used almost monochromatic pieces in nude tones with golden details. Asymmetric skirt and cardigan (I love this mixture of textures from the skirt and the lightness and softness of the cardigan).

In the accessories I also chose monochrome with a bag and the nude flats from Tutu. What did you think? Let’s try to wear some sparkle pieces during the day with flats!

For our special week without heels on look du jour I chose the classic flats for today’s outfit. I already posted a look with sneakers and another one with cool flat shoes, but if there’s a basic item that is almost unanimous in our wardrobe is the black flats, right?

I chose a lovely one from Tutu. I love wearing this model with skirts and dresses, it gets super girly. To wear with pants the ideal is to be a skinny shape, so the detail in the ankle is not hidden.

I wore the flats with another classic piece: the trench coat. I love this piece with shorter sleeves from Chicwish, a nice option to wear in this mid-season weather when the temperature is not really low. The base of the look has black skirt and striped sweater, this look is so easy to be inspired right? Only basic pieces that everyone has in the wardrobe!

The choice of accessories was also special, my usual black hat, big glasses and this very cute cat bag. Lately those kitten accessories have been my favorites, it’s hard not to fall in love. I hope you like it!

I loved your feedback about these special edition of look du jour on my social medias. Lots of people already practicing this in day-to-day looks and several girls needing some more inspiration to start wearing sneakers and flats. So I think you’ll like today’s look with a monochrome proposal.

Just as the mini length dominated the blog in the early years, the big heels was also always present. I loved feeling myself with 3 meters of leg in these looks, after all the combo mini lenght + high heels is great. But today I feel totally confident and comfortable to wear pants + flat shoes, something that seemed impossible to me.

This is something that we learn over time and there is no recipe to feel this way, but there is no harm in looking short, right? I have only 1.59m and I can wear midi skirt with sneakers, pants and shoes without heels and still feel absolutely incredible. Because that’s how I felt, for example, with this monochrome look.

You know that I love this color and these Gap pants are practically my uniform. And when I wear it in monochrome outfits it’s pure love. The fringe jacket is in my opinion the high point of this look, it is different, cool and yet delicate.

Today I chose the cool shoes from Tutu, this is exactly their name and it fits perfectly right? It has the comfort of a sneaker, is varnish, handmade and vegan, without any component of animal origin. Need to say more? A comfortable choice that leaves the look as cool as a nice heels.

And did you notice? I’m wearing earrings (beautiful by the way!). For someone who wore earrings very rarely that is a big thing. Get out of the comfort zone, experiment … this has been my best learning. Try this at home! (;

This week I thought about doing a special edition of  look du jour: one week without heels! It feels great to see so many trends with sneakers and flat shoes and we all know that we don’t need to wear high heels to have a nice look. But some new inspirations is always good right?

And these looks are super real life because in day to day comfort is everything. So even though I love high heels I have been increasingly wearing on sneakers to face the days of work, a special meeting and even going out to dinner.

For this Monday I chose a basic sneaker, but that is among my favorites: Keds! I think these sneaker are super classic and have a casual style. This gray one is neutral and it fits into so many different looks, that kind of versatile piece that I’m looking for more and more to keep on my wardrobe.

I chose to wear a very nude ballerina dress with a tutu skirt and completed with the Gap bomber jacket. A contrast I love between pieces of very different styles – delicate x sporty. On the accessories I chose a gray mini bag and rounded glasses, all in gray and nude colors.

Last but not leats a tiny detail, but one of those that makes difference: I added a bow underneath the bun, something that can only be noticed when I’m on my back, but it makes the look so sweet, right?

I hope you have enjoyed it and tomorrow I’ll keep working on outfits with no heels!
